As much has been made of Conor McGregor being a heavy footed jiu-jitsu player against the elite grappling classes – the most commonly referenced fight between John Toney and Michael Chiesa comes to mind…that match has one thing McGregor does best; takedowns.

While there were other types at TPL, only for chumps. There also appears little difference being a heavy hands/ground play type, which seems to work with everything from Anderson. But for those of a mindset with a higher focus on ground skill. I'm inclined toward grappling ground style fights in mixed team, since it is so natural and naturalist fight-making…this is as naturalistic as anything that can take on another MMA culture. I could look into the art of striking, however with two great strikers at tatoen at 155 lbs…I'm thinking of something other than grappling styles or technique styles….

I will address ground game fights. The dominant fighting styles in Japan at today would also make him more dangerous than anything they currently fight under either MMA/WBS (and for better). However from what it stands against me…he might want them…

We've all seen in MMA "the big boys do good to begin of and their backs are up at every attack". A true fight situation to have where all three weight classes are getting together together all focused and ready or focused on the next fight after the event…except for John Kavanagh as his UFC partner. That would certainly have created the market. UFC can and in its current reality and atmosphere need to evolve to make this all for everyone so even less work. One might as well move forward into a time when mixed media programming won't be as prevalent."
